Camille Chevrier
Associate Engineer – Architect Part II, Format EngineersCamille Chevrier is an Associate Engineer at Format. She joined the team in 2019 after graduating with a dual master's degree in Architecture and Structural Engineering in Nantes, France. Camille has a special interest in projects where architecture and engineering have a seamless dialogue.
In a world where resources and waste are at the centre of everything, she would like to minimise and optimise the impact of construction on the planet by using the right materials and the right amount, depending on each project and its location. She is a visiting tutor at Bath University, Bath Spa University and Oxford Brookes. Projects include a Network Rail footbridge with repurposed tubes, a 6meter tall 3d printed steel sculpture in Norway, and a three-dimensional space frame airship hangar.

Net Zero Bridges Group presents: Re-Bridge
- What happens to a bridge when it is no longer needed, and could it be reused instead of scrapped?
- Re-Bridge is a free online platform that matches bridges due for removal with people who could give them a second life.
- A joint initiative by Expedition Engineering and Format Engineers, supported by the Net Zero Bridges Group.
- Hear how circular economy principles could apply to your next project, and how designers, owners, developers, demolition companies and councils can get involved.
