SE Major Bridges Manager (Queensferry Crossing & Kincardine Bridge), BEAR Scotland

Chartered Civil Engineer with 18 years industry experience in structural design and construction management, specialising in bridges. Graduated from Dundee University in 2006 with an MEng Degree in Civil Engineering Design and Management. Gained chartership with ICE during a six-year spell as a design consultant with Atkins working on various major UK rail infrastructure projects. Three years spent working in the UK northeast Oil & Gas sector as an onshore engineering contractor specialising in structural modification to existing offshore assets. Joined BEAR Scotland northeast trunk road maintenance contract in 2015 working in various bridge engineering roles including NE Unit Bridges Manager from 2020 to 2022.  In December 2022, transferred to the role of Southeast Major Bridges Manager for Queensferry Crossing and Kincardine Bridge.
