Musa Chunge
Technology & Innovation , Laing O’RourkeMusa Chunge is a chartered engineer in Laing O’Rourke’s (LO’R) Technology and Innovation team, currently exploring modern methods of construction for infrastructure. He works with a multi-disciplinary team to develop offsite-manufactured components, productivity improvements, and data-driven tools to enhance bridge delivery.
Prior to LO’R Musa spent five years with COWI UK (formerly Flint & Neill) as a bridge engineer and project manager, working on the design and construction of several bridges.
Musa has been an active member of the Institution of Civil Engineers, and was a presidential apprentice under Sir John Armitt. Musa completed his research masters at the University of Cambridge Centre for Smart Infrastructure & Construction on continuous fibre optic instrumentation of foundation structures under the Gates Cambridge Scholarship programme.
