Keith Brownlie

Keith Brownlie is director of specialist bridge design firm BEAM Architects and has been involved in many significant bridge projects over three decades.

Recent notable projects include the tiny Bracklinn Falls Bridge in the Loch Lomond and Trossachs National Park and the major Frederick Douglass Memorial Bridge in Washington DC. He is currently working on a diverse range of projects including the ‘Earthquake Ready Burnside Bridge’ project in Portland Oregon and other important bridges in places ranging from Iceland to Australia.

He is a member of the Architecture + Design Scotland Design Forum reviewing nationally significant infrastructure on behalf of Scottish Government.
