Enrico Tubaldi
Reader in Structural Engineering Department of Civil & Environmental Engineering, University of StrathclydeDr. Enrico Tubaldi is Reader in Structural Engineering in the Department of Civil and Environmental Engineering and the Centre for Intelligent Infrastructure at the University of Strathclyde, which he joined in October 2017 as Lecturer. Previously, he was a Marie Curie Research Fellow at Imperial College London. His research focuses on risk assessment of structures and infrastructure assets under natural hazards, such as earthquakes and floods, and on computational structural mechanics. By advancing understanding of the behaviour of buildings and bridges, while accounting for uncertainties in loads and properties, his work supports safer, more efficient design and greater resilience of the built environment.
