- National Highways has been developing their approach to suicide prevention as part of their road safety ambition.
- Through new research and capability, they have delivered multiple safety improvements across the network with the aim to reduce the number of people who take their own life.
- Working with Scotland, Wales and Northern Ireland, National Highways are developing new guidance which will support those who design roads and bridges to consider suicide risk from the outset.
