Our systems are designed, tested and certified to the highest industry performance standards. Hill & Smith Barriers specialise in permanent steel vehicle restraint systems. Highway Safety Barrier solutions are tested to international standards EN 1317, NCHRP 350 and MASH. Varley & Gulliver has been at the forefront of road safety solutions for decades, with its bridge parapets, pedestrian barriers and passive sign supports all designed to keep road users safe. Our UK-manufactured products, which are tested to EN1317, CE marked, MASH and NCHRP350 approved, are created to minimise the risk of a collision or to reduce the impact in the event of a crash. Varley & Gulliver HiMast passive post is designed to shear or breakaway following a vehicle impact to minimise the harm to the vehicle’s occupants. Our Pedestrian Guardrails are designed to prevent pedestrians from walking into the road and are often located near pedestrian crossings, schools and shopping areas.
